These days almost all the applications we use come with light and dark mode. While first introduced i didn’t think this would be that much of a WOW factor to the users but, who am i to judge? People loved this and so we now see it almost everywhere. First it was introduced with mobile devices and operating systems and now most of the Applications have it. This article focuses on Snapchat and will teach you how to get dark mode on Snapchat.
During first installation it comes with the light mode. You will need to follow the steps below to get the dark mode.

Steps on how to get dark mode on Snapchat
- Step 1
– Navigate to your Snapchat profile by clicking on the “Bitmoji” in the top left corner.
- Step 2
– Click on the Setting icon ( Wheel icon) on the top right corner.
- Step 3
– Scroll down a bit and click on ” App Appearance” as shown in the image below.
- Step 4
– If you want it always dark choose ” Always Dark”.
– To match with your phone theme, choose ” Match System”.
– And to go back to the light mode, you can follow the above steps again and choose “Always Light” or change your System to Light.
